McKell Dalton Shelton began her real estate career as a research analyst with Colliers International in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. She was later recruited by CBRE, where she deepened her expertise in market research and gained a strong foundation in the principles that drive demand across commercial real estate asset types.

In 2015, McKell transferred to CBRE’s Salt Lake City office and concurrently pursued a master’s degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) at the University of Utah. Through connections made during her graduate studies, she transitioned into lending as a credit analyst for Washington Federal, underwriting acquisition and construction loans. She then joined Woodbury Corporation as a development associate, where she worked across several departments—including asset management, acquisitions and dispositions, underwriting, and investor relations—broadening her experience and strengthening her development acumen.

Most recently, McKell served as a Development Manager at PEG Companies, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects across Utah, Idaho, Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, and Florida. In 2023, McKell obtained her Utah real estate license and has since successfully closed over $1.7 million in residential transactions. Her deep background in commercial development and investment provides a unique edge to both residential and commercial clients looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented real estate professional. In addition to her MRED degree, McKell holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from Brigham Young University. She lives in American Fork, Utah, with her husband, Mark Shelton, whom she married in May 2023.
